The International Conference on Technology and Educational Innovation, REDIIEN'07 (Monterrey, México), is held from 8th to 12th October 2007 in the framework of the Universal Forum of Cultures.
The conference aims to present the technological developments applied to all levels and modalities of education, as well as the methods and procedures that have been proved and that are regularly applied in classrooms in Mexico, and at an international level. The event is expected to gather more than 500 managers from the most important educational institutions not only from Mexico but also, at an international level.

El curso, que incluye módulos de programación de Java Beans, podrá cursarse gratuitamente gracias a una subvención del Programa Forintel, del Ministerio de Industria Comercio y Turismo.
Los profesionales que participen en este curso aprenderán como crear presentaciones comerciales, contenidos de e-learning, planes de acogida… de manera sencilla gracias a la tecnología EasyProf. Pero además aprenderán cómo desarrollar nuevos beans para adaptar EasyProf a sus propias necesidades específicas.

| Taller realizado juntamente con e-ducativa durante la Expo e-learning en Madrid |

El pasado día 10 de Marzo se celebró en IFEMA (Madrid) el IV Congreso & Salón profesional Expo e-learning donde ITACA volvió a estar presente. Al igual que en las últimas y más importantes ferias celebradas en Europa (la LearnTEC 2005 en Karlsruhe, Alemania o la Online Educa en Berlín, entre otras), ITACA ha tenido un papel muy activo mostrando tanto su principal producto, EasyProf®, como su amplia gama de productos y cursos.
La asociación organizadora del evento “AEFOL” – “e-learning para todos” nos animó a participar en el proyecto de un nuevo concepto: los visitantes de la feria no solamente podían ver la presentación del producto sino que también podían probar nuestros productos y soluciones. Participamos en este proyecto conjuntamente con la plataforma e-ducativa, elaborando un taller: “Solución integral para sus contenidos”. En el taller se demostró una solución completa de e-learning, desde la creación de propios contenidos con EasyProf® hasta su integración y administración en la plataforma e-ducativa.
El taller fue muy interactivo y tuvo una gran participación. Los participantes podían explorar EasyProf® y aprender a crear sus propios cursos y publicarlos en la plataforma e-ducativa. Durante el desarrollo del taller todos se convencieron de la gran facilidad de uso de EasyProf® gracias la combinación de su sólido diseño instruccional, a la creación intuitiva de acciones (sin necesidad de saber programar) y a sus potentes y múltiples capacidades multimedia.

La Asociación Catalana de Formación Empresarial (ACFE) entregó a ITACA el primer Premio a la Innovación 2004 por su curso de Técnico Superior en Instalaciones Eléctricas. El acto, que tenía como objetivo promocionar los centros de formación no reglados, consistió en el reconocimiento como mejores iniciativas en materia de formación, concretamente como el curso más innovador en cualquier materia.
La ceremonia fue presidida por el Sr. Françesc Castellana, Director General del SOC (Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya) de la Generalitat, y presentada por el Presidente de ACFE, Joan Antón, junto a su Secretario General, Carles Huertas.
Por otro lado, a través del taller "Comunicación y educación en torno a las energías renovables", ITACA participó en el Forum de las Culturas en Barcelona. El evento se enmarcó dentro del Diálogo "Energía y Sostenibilidad", donde intervino Mijail Gorbachov como presidente de Green Cross International.
El papel de ITACA consistía en demostrar la potencia de las nuevas tecnologías, con características lúdicas y pedagógicas, para difundir conceptos de las energías no contaminantes a la sociedad y reflexionar sobre métodos de educación innovadores.
Para ello, la compañía presentó proyectos multimedia ya elaborados en ese ámbito. Junto a otras entidades, asociaciones y empresas, ITACA centró el taller en concienciar al público sobre conceptos y usos de las energías renovables. La presentación conjunta del taller "Comunicación y educación en torno a las energías renovables" se realizó con EasyProf®, herramienta de autoría orientada a facilitar la creación de contenidos multimedia de forma intuitiva y sin necesidad de programar. |

Seit Anfang des Jahres trainieren künftige E-Medienentwickler/innen im Qualifizierungszentrum Selb das Erstellen von Websites sowie die Produktion von E-Contents.
Diese Intensivfortbildung, ein Projekt der IHK für Oberfranken und der Bayerischen Staatsregierung, ist aufgeteilt in eine viermonatige Vollzeitschulung im IHK-Qualifizierungszentrum Selb und eine direkt anschließende gleichlange Praktikumsphase in Unternehmen.
Urs Riser (www.urteachware.ch) bildet die Teilnehmer in der Konzeption und Entwicklung von Lernprogrammen aus. In einer dreiwöchigen Praktikumsphase setzen die Teilnehmer ein Projekt um. Im soeben beendeten ersten Kurs haben Teilnehmer (welche bis jetzt überhaupt keine Erfahrung mit E-Learning und Medienentwicklung hatten) ein Lernprogramm "Europa" erstellt (Zielgruppe Schüler) und es selber mit Flash und dem Autorentool EasyProf umgesetzt.
Dieses beachtenswerte Programm beweist, dass sich das Entwickeln von Lernprogrammen lernen lässt und selbst ganz Unerfahrene innerhalb kürzester Zeit mit EasyProf umsetzen können.

| | El pasado 8 de julio, en el marco de una cena que tuvo lugar en el Hotel Colon de Barcelona, la Asociación Catalana de Formación Empresarial (ACFE) entregó a ITACA el 1º Premio a la Innovación 2004, para su curso de Técnico Superior en Instalaciones Eléctricas.
Dicho acto, que tenia por objetivo promocionar los centros de formación no reglados, tenia por objetivo reconocer las mejores iniciativas en materia de formación, y concretamente el curso más innovador independientemente de la materia.

| | Con otras entidades, instituciones de la enseñanza (IES Llobregat y CRECIM), asociaciones (APPA Catalunya y AMITS), empresas productores de energía eólica (Ecotècnia y Generación de Energía) y también nuestros partners holandeses, Teachers in Media, unimos nuestras competencias para realizar el taller “Comunicación y educación en torno a las energías renovables”.
El objetivo común era sensibilizar al público, y especialmente a niños y jóvenes, a conceptos de las energías renovables y no contaminantes, como la biomasa, la fotovoltaica, la energía solar y la energía eólica.
El papel de ITACA fue demostrar la potencia del uso de las nuevas tecnologías, con características lúdicas y pedagógicas, para difundir conceptos de las energías no contaminantes a la sociedad en general y reflexionar sobre métodos de educación innovantes.
En esta ocasión, presentamos proyectos multimedia ya elaborados en este ámbito, como juegos para niños orientados hacia la educación a las energías renovables, elaborados con EasyProf®.

Ein WBT zur Erstelung von WBTs - entwickelt vom Fraunhofer Institut IPSI, von der Daten + Dokumentation mit EasyProf umgesetzt.
Neben der Bedienung des Programms, werden von den AutorInnen natürlich auch didaktische Kenntnisse zum Aufbau eines Kurses benötigt. Das Fraunhofer Institut IPSI hat hierzu den Kurs "Erfolgreich WBTs erstellen", selbst als WBT realisiert.

- New Text import window that allows to break larger texts into different pages automatically.
- Evaluation tests can now have custom feedback for each question and feedback for the whole of the evaluation. Also included is IMS QTI v1.2 import and export of xml evaluation tests. Highlight of correct and incorrect answers after evaluation.
- The language of the Title can now be set independently of the language of the application.
- New advanced action creation panel. All object properties that can be changed in "Edit Mode" can now be performed at runtime as the result of an action.
- Menus have been reorganized. All the publishing options are now under the "Title" menu. In the file menu "Import" and "Export" have now been consolidated.
- Tens of minor tweaks, enhancements and performance improvements.

New version publishes courses in HTML, has sophisticated student tracking features and new types of evaluation tests

EasyProf® is a multimedia authoring tool designed to help experts in their field, with no programming skills, create engaging multimedia e-learning courses. ITACA EasyProf® v2.0 features numerous enhancements and performance improvements:
- All contents can now be generated in HTML for thin client distribution.

- The evaluation tests have been completely rebuilt. Tests can now be Multiple choice, Multiple response, True/False, Fill in the blank, Short answer and Open essay question.
